From April 8 to 13, 2025, Milan hosted the 63rd edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, reaffirming its status as the premier international event for furniture and design. With over 2,100 exhibitors from 37 countries and an exhibition area of 169,000 square meters, the event attracted more than 302,000 visitors, 68% of whom came from abroad, highlighting its global significance.
Among the Italian highlights, Kartell unveiled its “Future Perspectives” collection, a dialogue between history and innovation featuring new creations like “A.I. Lite” by Philippe Starck and “Luce” by Ferruccio Laviani, emphasizing the company’s commitment to sustainability and technological innovation.
The Salone also featured prominent European companies such as Vitra (Switzerland), Moooi (Netherlands), Knoll International (Germany), and Fermob (France), showcasing innovative collections that demonstrated the vitality and diversity of European design.
Meanwhile, the Fuorisalone transformed Milan into a dynamic playground of creativity, with installations and experiences curated by Gucci, Prada, and Louis Vuitton, highlighting the intersection between fashion and design.
During the Salone week, the President, Antonio Rotondo, and the Vice President, Adriana Kapaj, of our organization attended the fair. This event served as a significant opportunity to strengthen economic and institutional relations between Italy and the Czech Republic, promoting the internationalization of Italian companies and fostering new collaboration opportunities in the design and furniture sectors.
The Salone del Mobile.Milano 2025 once again showcased the ability of Italian design to blend tradition and innovation, offering creative and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of an increasingly attentive and global audience.
